The other Side of the Story

I like to listen. This is why I am always conducting interviews and participating in conversations, which are then published as collections – so that they can then enter into a dialogue with one another. I also find it important to promote awareness of African literature. This is why I also work as a translator and editor, so that I can focus on what I find most important. Finally, I want to explain and foster mutual understanding. This the reason I write books and reviews, radio contributions and encyclopedia articles, so that that which still seems so far away will become familiar.
